Recovered from Jonathan's report on 2026-08-03 after the public roadmap sign-in/return path failed to persist his original submission (ClickUp 86e2m65cu). Original suggestion follows. Build a refrigerant-management capability in Thermal that connects each refrigerant transaction to the customer, site, equipment, refrigerant circuit, work order, technician and cylinder. The equipment record should store the refrigerant type, safety classification, factory charge, current estimated charge, leak history and applicable inspection or compliance requirements. Via mobile, technicians should be able to record refrigerant added, recovered, recycled or removed, including cylinder identification, before-and-after weights, leak location, repair details and verification-test results. The system should maintain a complete chain of custody from warehouse receipt to truck transfer, field use, recovery, reclamation or disposal. Inventory controls should track cylinder location, quantity, cost, condition and discrepancies across warehouses, vehicles and technicians. Thermal should calculate leak rates, flag overdue inspections or repairs, retain compliance documentation and support jurisdiction-specific rules. The workflow should minimize manual entry by automatically populating equipment and refrigerant details and allowing technicians to scan cylinder barcodes in the field.
