About Thermal

Thermal is a field service platform for commercial and mechanical service contractors — dispatch, work orders, equipment records, service agreements, quoting, and invoicing, running on the equipment record instead of a generic ticket bolted onto a calendar. It runs beside the accounting system you already trust — QuickBooks Online, Sage Intacct, Business Central — and never asks to become it.
We built it because the systems shops depend on kept trapping the people who bought them: lock-in dressed up as a platform, exit costs disguised as loyalty. We think a field service platform can earn a renewal instead of engineering one.
- Software shouldn't trap you — at any contract size. If it's good, you stay because you want to, not because leaving costs more than staying.
- Your data is yours. Exporting it should be free and take an afternoon, whether you run 10 techs or 200.
- The equipment record is the business — not the calendar, not a generic ticket. Agreements, service history, and asset condition live on the thing itself, not bolted onto a scheduling app.
- Automation should show its reasoning and let you turn it off. A suggestion you can't see the logic behind, and can't disable, isn't automation you control — it's a black box wearing a UI.
- The app has to work in a mechanical room with no signal, or it doesn't work. That's table stakes, not the headline.
- Beside your books means beside your books. We sync to the accounting system you already trust; we never ask to become it.
- Getting live shouldn't cost more than the software itself, and it shouldn't take a quarter of your year.
