Is this a different product from commercial HVAC?
No. Same record, same platform. A multi-trade mechanical contractor adds phased jobs, sub coordination and contract-level cost to it. See commercial HVAC.
Does Thermal handle prevailing-wage or certified payroll?
Thermal does not run certified or union payroll; that stays with a payroll system. You can flag jobs and projects as prevailing-wage in Settings, Billing. Sending the flag to your payroll export is not available yet.
How does sub coordination work?
Subs and vendors work through a portal for purchase orders, work orders and compliance documents, which feed the same compliance queue the office uses. See subcontractors.
What is the difference between cost capture and full job costing?
Cost capture, logging labor, material and sub cost against a job as it happens, works today. Margin rollup across a multi-visit project is early access. See job costing.
Does Thermal scope dispatch and reporting by branch?
Yes. Dispatch and contract P&L scope to the branches a user has access to, so one system runs the operation without every office seeing every other branch’s numbers by default.
