Do PM visits have to be manually scheduled?
No. PM work orders generate from the service agreement's schedule against the equipment it covers, so a visit shows up on the dispatch board when it comes due. Frequency, season and route rules come from the agreement.
What happens during a PM visit?
When arrival safety is on, the technician completes a safety (JHA) arrival check first. Companies choose that setting, and it is off for new companies. The technician then works through the inspection checklist, and the results feed the unit's service history and the compliance and safety scorecards.
How does PM connect to compliance reporting?
Response-time commitments report against the agreement's own terms, and any flagged inspection or outstanding deficiency lands in a dedicated compliance queue instead of the general job list.
Can PM visits be routed together to save drive time?
Yes. Visits generated from the same schedule group by route, and routing is branch-aware, so a multi-branch shop keeps each branch's visits on that branch's trucks.
What happens to a missed visit?
It lands in the compliance queue for a person to act on. Nothing re-books itself in the background, and a missed PM stays visible until someone decides what happens next.
Where does a completed inspection show up later?
On the unit's equipment record. Every PM visit adds to that unit's service history.
