Does a quote use the same pricing as the invoice?
Yes. A quote's line items pull from the same price book the invoice reads, so what the customer approved is what gets billed.
Can a customer choose between pricing options?
Yes. A quote can carry Good, Better, Best tiers side by side. Only the tier the customer accepts becomes the work order or invoice.
Does the customer have to create an account to approve a quote?
No. The customer accepts through a secure, single-use share link with one click, and the acceptance is timestamped on the quote. A customer with a portal link can also see the quote there.
Is a quote e-signed?
Not yet. Today a customer's acceptance is a recorded, timestamped click on a secure link. Signature capture on quotes is on the roadmap.
Can a quote require a deposit before it converts?
Yes. The deposit requirement is enforced at acceptance, so a quote that needs money down cannot become a work order until that gate clears. Internal sign-off gates work the same way.
What happens once a quote is accepted?
It converts into a work order or an invoice, carrying the accepted tier's line items and totals, so the crew and the office work from the record the customer approved.
