Every logged incident — an injury, a near-miss, a vehicle accident, a hazard flagged on site — is recorded against the technician, job, site, and branch involved, along with the incident type and severity. The report rolls these up over time so you can see whether incidents are trending up or down company-wide, and whether they're concentrated on a particular branch, job type, or piece of equipment.
Near-misses are tracked alongside actual incidents deliberately: a near-miss is a leading indicator, and a branch with a rising near-miss count but no incidents yet is still a branch worth a closer look.
